Clarisse
Hi, my name is Clarisse and I’m from an Island in South Brazil, called Florianopolis where I studied my Bachelor in Nursing.
I moved to Sydney in 2008 with my husband and we lived in Sydney for a few years, before we travelled around Australia. Sydney was where I learned all about the Early Years Learning Framework and developed my passion to work in Child Care.
I believe that the Early Years Learning Framework empowers us to become better Educators and to support the children on their learning journey.
Our Centre
Our centre boasts a nursery for children 0 – 1 years of age, a Nido room for 1-2 year-olds, a Pre-montessori room for 2-3 year-olds and a Children's House for our 3 – 5-year-olds.
Our educators recognise mealtimes as an important time for social interaction, spending time in positive conversations to make mealtimes positive and relaxed.
Indigo Montessori Broome has their own cook who uses local and seasonal produce, proudly avoiding using processed foods, preservatives and additives.
Our centre also boasts a kitchen garden, so children can play an active part in growing the food they eat.
